The Instituto Europeo Di Diseño (IED) is an international design educational network. It offers three-year post-secondary school courses, advanced courses and Masters. IED was established in 1966 and through time has become a 100% Made in Italy international network of excellence, mainly in the fields of training and research, in the disciplines of Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management.

IED is intended to be an evolving educational system with capability and dedication to reinventing itself on a daily basis. Its mission is basically to offer young creatives a thorough training – both theoretical and practical – and hand them the ‘Design Knowledge and Mindset’ that will accompany them throughout their lives.

IED promotes itself as more than a school: thanks to its unwavering commitment to innovation, it is the melting pot where new generations of professionalism are constantly unfolded. IED is a powerhouse of ideas that develops creativity through its range of: undergraduate courses, masters courses and advanced training courses. IED has campuses in several countries: Italy (Milan, Rome, Venice, Turin, Florence and Cagliari), Spain (Madrid and Barcelona) and Brazil (Sao Paulo).

In Spain, in addition to 3 year courses, IED offers Master Programs, which are One or two year program (from 60 to 90 CF), at the end of which the student will earn a private Master degree. In Barcelona, for instance, two of the masters available are “Design Management” and “Interior Design for Commercial Spaces”, both taugh in the English language. However, these masters are available only to students who have followed IED’s undergraduate programs.
